IST, the world’s go to technology partner for the cruise industry, is back at FITUR, after its highly “productive” participation at one of Latin America’s leading trade fairs (FIT 2017).

After participating at FIT 2017, the firm has busied itself readying to disembark at FITUR 2018, set to “continue consolidating its online solutions in international markets”.  According to Manuel Sardi, CEO and Managing Director of IST, FIT 2017 proved “a most positive, productive experience”. IST, based on its FIBOS Technology – a set of advanced technological solutions – provides tourist sector companies with both an online booking engine and direct XML connection to 30 of the world’s leading cruise lines, enabling them to check the availability and book on over 14,000 cruises. Today, over 45,000 agents are connected via FIBOS technology, completing some 500 million transactions per annum.

To assist with the marketing of cruise products, IST offers the tourist market a varied range of online solutions with which to create B2C websites, develop B2B applications or implement apps for mobile devices.

Manuel Sardi, CEO of IST, has revealed the launch at the coming Spanish trade fair of a new cruise booking engine with new “innovative” functionalities and an “attractive, charming” design that “will permit many travel agents to discover a new way to sell cruises”. The CEO and Managing Director of IST also assured us that the new online solution will extend the number of sailings available to more than 15,000 cruises, offered by over 30 different cruise lines since it has now incorporated new cruise lines in its latest technology.
