- Manuel Sardi, CEO of IST “With Cruise Browser we are currently present in 18 countries and we have just closed new collaborations in Mexico and Colombia”
Barcelona, Thursday June 8th 2017. IST, the reference technological partner in the cruise industry, plans to incorporate more than 1.300 cruise ships in Cruise Browser and in Cruise Browser 4 Business (the B2B version of the booking engine) in 2017. Manuel Sardi, CEO of IST, has assured that “at the moment Cruise Browser is present in 18 countries and we have just closed new collaborations in Mexico and Colombia”. Among the countries that already use the cruise booking engine in Europe are Spain, France, Portugal, Romania, Greece and Morocco. In the American continent, there are 12 countries that already use Cruise Browser, Argentina and Brazil being examples of it.
“Cruise Browser crosses borders, it is a product that adapts to the different markets and can configure the particularities that each one of them has,” explained the Director and CEO of IST. In this sense, the web solution is already available in 7 languages: Spanish, English, Portuguese, Italian, French, Polish and Dutch and we are working on the Hebrew version for Israel. Likewise, Sardi said that the Company’s objective “is to expand the cruise offer in FIBOS Technology and therefore also in the Cruise Browser range and reach the 15.000 cruises included in the web solution.”
“Cruise Browser allows you to book more than 14.000 cruises from 30 different shipping companies in a simple and intuitive way in just 3 steps and it also includes extensive descriptive contents” pointed out Sardi. The solution “has been developed so that any agent in the sector (travel agencies, wholesalers or management groups) have the opportunity to implement a cruise booking engine immediately and without having to invest in IT development costs” has emphasized the Director and CEO of IST.
The addition of new companies to Cruise Browser will mean an increase in cruise offers and a new opportunity for travel agents to increase their portfolio. “We are constantly evolving and growing and our main goal is to help and make the travel agencies grow with our technology,” said the CEO of IST.
