IST, the world’s go to technology partner for the cruise industry, is back at FITUR presenting its new online solution that allows you to manage and book over 15,000 cruises run by more than 30 cruise lines

IST is back at FITUR 2018, where it will present NAVEO, its new cruise meta search engine which automates the querying and booking of over 15,000 cruises run by more than 30 different cruise lines. “Our new B2C solution will allow travel agents to extend their cruise inventory, as well as offering them a permanent cruise sale “shop window”, explains Manuel Sardi, CEO and Managing Director of IST. At the trade fair, the Spanish firm will be sited at the same stand as last year, that is, 8F02.

The new cruise booking engine focuses on “creating a user-friendly, instinctive interface with an intuitive design and new functionalities”. A clear example of this is the pricing calendar which, on a single screen, allows the user to visualise the cheapest prices on a given date of sailing. Likewise, from the very start of the search, the number of cruises available for any given destination is featured. “All of which offers the user a more user-friendly, intuitive experience,” assures Sardi

 

“Full platform stats are available to the travel agent so that they can analyse user behaviour and set up their own promotions and personalise their brand identity, as well as choosing many other options. This means the new tool will also act as a marketing instrument for them,” stated IST’s CEO.

NAVEO offers extensive descriptive content and multimedia displays and is a multi-language multi-currency tool that “extends beyond borders and adapts to the different markets, since it can be set-up to incorporate the specific features of each different market”.

“We seek to offer the travel agent an opportunity to discover a new way to sell cruises,” stated Sardi, while also encouraging travel agents to visit the stand to book their copy of the solution, available as of March this year. “It is an ideal tool for travel agents who are unable to invest in large-scale IT development. It is an integrated web solution ready for direct website implementation,” emphasised the CEO of IST.

Lastly, the Director of IST explained that the firm will also use the “unparalleled, magnificent shop window and innovative environment of FITUR” to present other novelties, such as, the new functionalities the firm’s B2B solutions, like Cruise Browser 4 Business, now offer.
